Research
The research at the institute of mechanical process engineering of the Martin Luther University Halle/Wittenberg concentrates on the fields of multiphase flows and particle technology. Modern methods are developed based on a detailed analysis of the relevant micro processes allowing the design and optimisation of processes of mechanical process engineering. In this connection the numerical flow computation for multiphase processes is an important point of research. Particle technology and the continuous development of the software are equal exploratory focuses.
